The Corinthians will save about R$ 300 grand a month from September. And without making a big effort for it. The four-player contract is closed and will not be renewed: Defederico, Boquita, Taubaté and Elias Oliveira.
The link between Boquita and Timão wins on June 1, but it's very likely that the club won't even have to pay the Rs.$ 60,000 full-wheel drive for May. "He's right out and will sign the distraction at any moment," says Saulo Magalhães, football supervisor. Boquita has a proposal from San Caetano and one from an Arab team.
Taubaté and Elias Oliveira, who emerged at the base, stay only until June 12 and July 1, respectively. The two have already been warned that they are out of Coach Tite's plans and will generate, together, an economy of R$ 40 grand a month.
But the most celebrated exit is that of Defederico, half Argentine who invoices R$ 200,000 a month and was hired by R$ 10 million in 2009. Today, he works on loan in the Huracán, Argentina.
The Corinthians have been wiping their payroll since January. At least six boys who were from the base, like Franinho, son of counselor Fran Papaordanou, were released.
