Corinthians has already responded to fans if there is the possibility of driving Jose Martínez back to the club after the public apology this week.
Behind the scenes of São Jorge Park, the name of the Venezuelan midfielder is seen as a thing of the past and it is not even considered the possibility of returning the player. The ligament injury to the knee of the steering wheel is also seen as a major obstacle.
" Forget it, forget it, there's no condition for Martínez to go back to the Corinthians. Martínez today is treated as past in the Corinthians. Corinthians won't hire a player who would come back older and with a knee ligament surgery. So it doesn't matter," says journalist Samir Carvalho.
José Martínez terminated his contract with Corinthians in the first semester after returning to Venezuela to solve bureaucratic problems. The delay in returning to Brazil for the training of the São Paulo club, however, irritated then coach Dorival Júnior, who asked the board to leave.
In protest on social media after Dorival's resignation, The steering wheel vented against Timão's former commander.
