The Chilean Maldonado steering wheel is training at Corinthians to regain physical fitness after a series of left knee surgeries. It will not be alvinegro reinforcement for the Libertadores Cup, but uses the medical structure of the club – the Ceproo, preparation and rehabilitation center located within the CT Joaquim Grava.
On the morning of Wednesday, Maldonado ran around the lawn next to the Romulus steering wheel, from Spartak Moscow, Russia, which also recovers from injury in the Corinthians – broke the cruciate ligament of the right knee. Next to the duo, the Boquita steering wheel also ran. He's part of Timon's cast, but he's not in Coach Tite's plans.
Chilean has been in Timon for about 15 days. His last club was Flamengo, who left at the end of last year after not having his contract renewed. Maldonado studies proposals to return to play regularly after two years suffering from severe injuries. At the age of 33, the steering wheel also passed through São Paulo, Santos and Cruzeiro in Brazilian football.
