The Corinthians remained silent after the defeat for Tijuana by 1 to 0 in Mexico last week for Copa Libertadores. After giving back and winning the Mexican team 3 to 0 in Pacaembu, on Wednesday, some players vented.

– We didn't have a good time there (in Tijuana). They made a lot of fun, beat a lot too. Today (fourth) we came in focused on making a good game – said the striker Paolo Guerrero, who made the second goal in the match, and still poked the attitude of the rival at the end of the game.

– Because we were playing a good game, they got nervous. We demonstrated our quality in the field – completed.

Who also stressed the cast's scolding with Tijuana was the side-left Fábio Santos.

– There we stood pedaling, touching one side, looking the other... Today there was no such thing – said shirt 6.

For Fabio, the motivation was great before the departure. The defeat in the last week, in addition to the aspects mentioned above, had led the Mexican team to take advantage of Group 5's leadership and also ended a sequence of 16 invincibility games in Liberators – preventing Timão from equalizing the greatest record in history, 17 games, of Sporting Cristal (PER) in the 1960s.

– When the team comes in focused, Tite doesn't even have to lecture. We got a bad feeling in Mexico, we needed to win here at home. Today was another great performance – said Fábio Santos.

– This team is used to winning and, when it is defeated, we feel in the skin. We felt it and today we behaved well. I believe that the result was much deserved – finished the side.
