One of those involved in the confusion between Corinthians and vascaines in the stadium Mané Garrincha, in Brasilia, last Sunday, Councilman Raimundo Cesar Faustino, PT-SP, in the municipality of Francisco Morato (SP), explained his participation in the confusion during the match valid for the 16th round of the Brazilian Championship.

Through his profile on a social network, the politician, also known as Capá, spoke about his connection with the Gaviões da Fiel fans, which has been associated since 1988, and gave his version of the events that occurred in the Federal District.

– When I saw agents come into our midst after fans in a truculent way, spewing pepper gas randomly on me, friends and everyone around us, we were outraged. Next, I witnessed an agent who, instead of stopping a fan (I don't know if he was Corinthian or Vascain), was slaughtering him with rubbers. In my defense drive, I just wanted him to stop hitting the fan. First I tried to put my hand in front of a rubber patch, but he went on and without thinking I kicked the cop. I got a lot for that kick. You should have hugged the policeman in an attempt to make him stop, because maybe you would have gotten less – says section of the statement.

In a text published on the Internet, the councilman says to do prevention work with organized fans of all teams in the Francisco Morato region and to have carried out social actions against violence.

In addition, Capá points out errors in the administration of the event between Vasco and Corinthians and blames the leaders for the recent incidents.

– I was wrong to kick the cop for judging his attitude unfair, but the leaders made more mistakes. First, the Vasco board that sells the game to the Federal District and with absurd values to its fans. Error of security sectors that do not obtain knowledge of the information necessary for conflict prevention. In other states, with more advanced Prevention Action Plans, preventive action is practically due to information and knowledge. That's missing from the DF.
