The quarterback Paulo André spoke on the afternoon of Thursday about the probable arrival of Mano Menezes in the Corinthians for the next season and stated that the coach helped to form the cast of the Corinthians who conquered everything in the last two years.
Paulo André was hired at the request of Mano in 2009 and can return to work under the command of the coach, since he said he intends to fulfill his contract by the end of 2014 and even thinks about renewing the bond, despite the surveys of football abroad.
‘It is not official, but he who brought me in 2009 from France, is fully competent and helped prepare this victorious path that the club had. He went through the selection and will try to get his best if he comes to the Corinthians’, said the defender.
'I have a contract until the end of next year, I turned 30 now and never hid that I want to end my career at the club. I have a contract by the end of next year and I think I play a little more, so I'd have to renew. I had polls in the middle of the year, I preferred to stay and want to stay for 2014’, he said.
After more than three years under Tite's command, the Corinthians will have a new coach and Paulo André asks for good planning so that the team does not suffer from adaptation problems.
‘It depends a lot on what is done and the chosen pieces, the way the coach wants to play. Every transition or beginning of work tends to have some alternations, some novelties, but the cast is qualified and there is already a way to act and I think it will not change everything’, Paulo André analyzed.
