Defined the Cup opening game in the Arena Corinthians and the groups

The first part of the road to winning the 2014 World Cup is already defined. The Fifa drew the World Cup groups and the Brazilian national team on Friday is in the same key as Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon. As in 2006, the green and yellow team's debut will be against Croats in São Paulo.

The European team that went to pot 2 turned out to be Italy, which fell into group D, the same as Uruguay. This definition eventually formed a death group, since England and Costa Rica fell into the same key. In other words, a world champion will already fall in the first phase. Another "animate" group is from Spain, which will have Holland's company – reprising the 2010 Cup final -, Chile and Australia.

On the other hand, there are keys with selections of little tradition, such as groups C and H.

Rodrigo Hilbert and Fernanda Lima were the hosts of the party, which began with a tribute to Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa who died on Thursday. Fifa prepared a clip with striking images of Madiba's life, especially in soccer-related situations. The emotion was inevitable.

Alcione and Emicida were the first musical attractions to perform. They did a double samba and rap. Then, with President Joseph Blatter and President Dilma Rousseff on stage, there was a minute of silence to Mandela, following the tributes.

– The Cup has a special meaning, because the Cup is home. Brazil is the country of football. This will be the Cup of Hearts, so no one forgets. For the first time all the world champions will be reunited. We are very happy to welcome everyone, because we are a joyful and welcoming people – said Dilma.

After the arrival of the Cup, brought by Spanish coach Vicente Del Bosque, it was the turn of Vanessa da Mata and Alexandre Pires to the stage.

Ronaldo Phenomenon, who is still the greatest gunner in World history and is also a member of the Local Organizing Committee, was called for a quick speech.

– Making goals was easy compared to organizing the Cup. I'm sure we'll deliver the best World Cup ever – he said.

Participating in the draw as a guest, Pelé had the chance to demonstrate trust in Brazil.

– I have a great confidence in Brazil, I think it will compete in the final. One thing I remember is my father crying when Brazil lost in the Cup. I don't want my kids to see me crying now. So I'm sure Brazil will win – the football king said.

Only after about an hour of party that the draw effectively began. Ghiggia, Cafu, Canavarro, Hierro, Kempes, Zidane and Geoff Hurst were called to draw the balls and then the first stage of the Cup was defined.

Everyone knows who they're up against. Now just wait for the opening of the Cup, which will be on June 12, at the Arena Corinthians, in São Paulo, with the duel Brazil x Croatia.
