The arrival of coach Mano Menezes at Corinthians may also mean the end of the line for Douglas at the club. According to the newspaper Lance!, the São Paulo team is interested in releasing the sock for free to the Grêmio, who contacted last week to learn about the possibility of hiring. The relationship between the shirt 10 and the technician, who already worked together in the Corinthians itself, would be troubled.
Douglas, 31, has a contract with the São Jorge Park team until February 2015.
