How is your day after the historic classification of Penapolense in Morumbi?
You're being very happy for me and all my companions. We celebrate a lot after the game, but now we're starting to focus on the battle against Santos this weekend. Now it's about having your feet on the ground and picking up a spot at Paulistan's final.
And the repercussion of the feat? How is it on social media, on the streets...
Very big, no doubt. My Facebook is booming. I think this is happening because no sports commentator believed in Penapolense, but we proved to everyone that our work is good and deserves respect.
You hit the penalty with tranquility and competence. How was that moment for you?
I was really focused, I went easy on the ball and hit hard, like I usually do. Rogério tried to get in my way. He said he'd catch the ball. After the goal, I replied to him: ‘Then take it, the ball is on your side’. I said it that way because I wanted to answer to him, it wasn't a joke. He wanted to mess with me, but I was focused. Thank God I got the goal.
The Corinthians fans, the club you have a contract with, celebrated a lot. You followed everything, you know that?
Yeah, I know that. The Corinthians fans like me very much, but my contract is coming to an end (April 19) and I won't stay. Now my focus is getting to sign a contract with some big team.
Do you think it's possible that, after your performance in Paulistan, the Corinthians tried to renew your contract to keep it?
No, I have no hope of anything. If they wanted to renew my contract, they would have done it last year. The crowd always believed me, but the leaders never did that for me.
The fan's affection is for the performance against the rivals, isn't it?
Acho que sim. Eu fiz gol no Palmeiras na Série B (pelo Guaratinguetá), fiz gol contra o Santos (pelo Penapolense) e, agora, bati o pênalti contra o São Paulo num jogo que nós nos classificamos. É muito bom fazer gol em time grande, Deus me abençoou com isso. Quero manter isso para um dia ter chance num grande também.
O pessoal do Palmeiras sondou seus empresários? Está sabendo de alguma coisa?
Não, até onde eu sei não chegou nada do Palmeiras. Nem para mim nem para meu empresário, ele teria me falado. É batalhar para ser verdade no Palmeiras ou em outro grande clube brasileiro.
Acha que daria certo no Palmeiras, por exemplo?
Futebol é isso, se não dá certo num clube, dá certo em outro. É normal isso. Um exemplo disso é o Jadson, que não estava bem no São Paulo e está arrebentando no Corinthians. Comigo pode acontecer a mesma coisa. Mas não teve nada de Palmeiras.
