One of the greatest winners in the history of the Corinthians, defender Chicão decided to sue his former club. And it already exists until date for the first hearing between the parties: November 12, in a Labor Court in São Paulo.
Chicão charges just over R$ Two million Corinthians. The value has to do with unpaid image rights and arena rights that would have been disregarded by the club's legal board.
Currently in Flamengo, the quarterback defended the alvinegra shirt between January 2008 and August 2013. His departure was troubled because he dreamed of ending his career in São Jorge Park and President Mario Gobbi released him for free six months after the end of the contract.
Chicão is the second defender with more goals among all those who have played in the Corinthians – he scored 42 times, behind only Grané, quarterback and right-back alvinegro between 1924 and 34, with 50 goals.

The list of balls in Chicão's net included 22 goals of penalty, eight missing and 12 ball rolling. He played 247 matches for Alvinegro.
In addition to scoring many goals, his passage through São Jorge Park was marked by many titles, eight in total. He won the World Cup of Clubs (2012), Libertadores (2012), Brasileirão (2011), Recopa Sul-Americana (2013), Copa do Brasil (2009), Serie B (2008) and the two-time São Paulo (2009 and 2013).
