The Corinthians wants to sell Alexandre Pato in this transfer window, but is already prepared for a new failure in treatment.
As he is scheduled to travel to the United States on January 13 for the Florida Tournament, the club's logistics officials requested that the player have copies of his passport and U.S. visa so that he is able to travel with the cast during the period.
If it is not negotiated, therefore, the 26-year-old player will be an option for Tite in the Alvinegro attack. The re-presentation in CT Joaquim Grava is day 6.
Still without a concrete proposal from a European club, but with surveys from China, Pato looks forward to a definition of the future since he left São Paulo, which did not renew his loan after the end of the Brazilian Championship. He made it clear, however, that he does not want to play in an alternative market.
The numbers requested by the Corinthians are high. Football superintendent Andrés Sanchez says the club doesn't negotiate Duck for less than EUR 15 million (R$ 64.8 million).
Timon is entitled to 60% of this amount, while the other 40% get the attacker. Depending on the negotiation, it can give up its percentage to facilitate exit.
– For less than 15, 20 million euros, he won't leave. If you arrive with a $10 million offer, there is no point talking to us – Andrés said in an interview with the radio "Bandeirantes".
If you keep the 60%, the club can make about R$ 39 million, almost the amount invested in the arrival of Pato in early 2013 (R$ 40 million). On vacation in Trancoso, Bahia, the player has published photos performing exercises in preparation for the next season.
