After ambushed by the president of Faithful Hawks, Diguinho, Timão's organized crowd issued an official note clarifying all the facts.
According to the aggregation, this is not a cheer fight, it's a politically planned ambush.
CONFIRE OFFICIAL NOTE IN INTEGRA:
On the afternoon of last Wednesday (2), the president and the first secretary of the Faithful Gaviões were attacked cowardly, soon after a meeting with prosecutor Paulo Castilho in the forum of Barra Funda. In addition to the Hawks, two other São Paulo fans were also present.
The fact occurred in the parking lot of a supermarket, in front of the Judiciary Complex Minister Mário Guimarães. Rodrigo Fonseca broke his arm, while Cristiano had a slightly grated face and a broken index finger. Despite that, you're both fine.
And although the press and prosecutor Paulo Castilho himself are suggesting an attack by another crowd, we suspect this hypothesis.
The reasons for such mistrust should be no mystery to anyone. We assume a declared ideological war with sectors of society that, supported by conservatism, are not used to the challenge.
If in 1969, when we were founded fighting against Wadih Helu, a former president committed to the military dictatorship, we were reprimanded by goons, it would not surprise us if the attempt at repression were implemented again in the present day.
To whom it may concern, the Faithful Hawks Torcida reaffirms her commitment to the fight for a truly popular football, by not accepting in any way any kind of moral or even physical intimidation, if that is the case.
To the authorities, we make ourselves (as always) available to the proper clarifications about recent events.
To the fans (all of them), we make it clear that our fight will continue, whatever it takes, because if our story has not been interrupted in the dark times of macawwood, it will not be interrupted in independent media times and information democracy.
Against every dictator in football who wants to rule, the Hawkeyes will continue to claim.
