Paraguay police arrested on Wednesday, two fans of the Corinthians suspected of drug trafficking. According to Paraguayan newspaper ABC Color, marijuana and cocaine were found in the Corinthian belongings.
The drug was found in a sweep made on a bus that carried part of the crowd to Asunción, location of the match in Paraguay. The vehicle carried about 70 alvinegro fans.
Right now the fans are being held at the Caacupé police station, waiting for the local prosecutor to begin investigations into the alleged crime.
According to the Paraguayan Police, eight buses and some private cars have already entered the country to watch the match between Cerro Porteño and Corinthians, at 7:30 p.m. (the time of Brasilia) by Libertadors of America.
