Idol of the Corinthians and executioner of the greatest rival Palmeiras, Romarinho will return to the FIFA club world. Hired recently by Qatar’s Al Jazira, the attacker celebrated the return to the tournament that helped the Corinthians win in 2012.
Classified as a host country after the fall of Al Ain in Asia Champions, the attacker recalled the times of Corinthians to demonstrate the importance of the achievement in his career.
"It was something we knew about, but it was no longer up to us. The club had this expectation and I, since I started talking to Al Jazira, have also started thinking about this situation. For me it's special, since I was able to fight for the Corinthians and we were champions. It's a competition everyone's watching and the biggest for clubs. Last year we almost got the job for El Jaish, and now I can come back," said Romarinho.

Corinthians' idol has been speculated on Palmeiras in the last few weeks. According to journalist Jorge Nicola, the attacker is one of the targets of the aliverde team for 2018. He hasn't made his point yet.
