Sanchez believes in title

President Andrés Sanchez did not give up the title of the 2018 Paulista Championship. In an interview after the defeat suffered before Palmeiras last Saturday (31), by 1 to 0 in Itaquera, the Alvinegro agent again reinforced that the Corinthians is the zebra of the decision, but believes in a twist.

Andrés strengthened his confidence in the technical commission and sent a message to the alvinegro players about next Sunday's confrontation before Palmeiras: the mission is to continue trying to win. "We really like the work of the technical committee. We are zebra and we will keep trying again to get out with this title," he designed.

Asked if the arbitration influenced the outcome of the match (the Corinthians did not have a penalty marked and saw Clayson being expelled even after being assaulted by the back) Sanchez dismissed complaining about the referee of the classic, and spoke again in ‘fight’ to win the match back in Allianz Park.

"No use complaining. You'll see the footage too. We lost the game, we have to fight to win the next one," said Sanchez.

At last the agent commented on the confusion involving the attacker Clayson and the steering wheel Felipe Melo. The president reinforced that any fight ‘is bad for the show’.

"All kinds of aggression in a football game is bad for the show. Now, it's got the players on edge, they're already getting into a fight from other games, it's a game thing. But everyone has to put their heads in place, they're professionals, so that it doesn't happen anymore," Andrés concluded.
