The attacker Clayson was involved in controversy in the defeat of the Corinthians by 2 to 1 before Chapecoense, this Sunday, at Arena Condá, in Chapecó-SC. After being replaced in the second half, the Corinthian got angry with criticism from the opposing crowd and threw water at a woman.
Cold-headed a little later, Clayson tried to justify the mistake. The attacker apologized, took the mistake and wanted no justification.
"He ended up cursing me, but doesn't justify it. I made a mistake. It's apologizing. We go out with a hot head. He cursed me, he was with his family, but one thing does not justify another," he said.
On social media, Corinthians fans did not forgive Clayson's attitude and fired criticism at the player. (see below)
Okay, Clayson doesn't deserve to play at CORINTHIANS anymore.— Marcus Vinicius Ferreira (@VNS1992) 12 August 2018
Was Clayson's attitude an asshole? Yes! Was it sexist? Don't! More wrong than Clayson's attitude is to see a team fan who has a player who beat up a woman and a racist player using the episode to make fun of the Corinthians campaign in favor of women.— Boss Mann96? (@pedroressiguier) 12 August 2018
Clayson is ridiculous, I don't even know what he's doing in the Corinthians!— Daughter of Hecate? (@ThechickenOf5H) 12 August 2018
