Ex-goleiro do Corinthians em 2006, o chileno Johnny Herrera perdeu a mãe para o coronavírus. Gladys Muñoz Pacheco, de 79 anos, faleceu no início da última semana.
Gladys ficou internada quatro dias antes de ter complicações respiratórias e vir à óbito. O relatório médico confirmou que a mãe de Johnny Herrera perdeu a batalha para o COVID19. O Chile ficou em comoção e o arqueiro da Universidad de Chile recebeu condolências dos mais variados setores.
“Queria agradecer a todos. Minha mãe quis vir para cá, então a trouxemos. Fico feliz pelo reconhecimento das pessoas daqui. Obrigado pelo reconhecimento”, disse Herrera à uma TV chilena.
Johnny Herrera, de 38 anos, atuou pelo Corinthians por uma temporada (2006) e jogou apenas nove partidas.
Até esta segunda-feira (06), o Chile registra 4,471 casos de coronavírus, sendo 34 mortes.
