O Corinthians treinado pelo técnico Tite ainda é motivo de elogios no mundo do futebol. Campeão da Libertadores e Mundial pelo clube alvinegro, o atual comandante da Seleção Brasileira foi citado por Óscar Ortega, preparador físico do Atlético de Madrid.
Em entrevista ao Esporte Interativo, o preparador comparou a equipe de Tite com o modelo implementado por Diego Simeone no Atlético de Madrid, da Espanha. Ele explicou.
“Acredito que nós temos semelhanças com o Corinthians de Tite. Era uma equipe intensa, estável na intensidade, uma equipe forte e muito tática. Uma equipe de memória, também com uma característica parecida com a nossa, provoca o erro e, com esse erro, te matava”, disse.
“Para vencê-los era muito difícil. Nessas características, era muito parecido. Esse Corinthians também tinha um pilar físico e estava muito bem trabalhado, sem dúvidas”, completou.
O Atlético de Madrid de Simoene jamais venceu a Liga dos Campeões, apesar de ter sido duas vezes finalista, tampouco o Mundial de Clubes Fifa.
