| Matheus Cunha and the affection for Corinthians |
The attacker Matheus Cunha did not even play professionally in Brazilian lands. At the base of Coritiba, he moved to Sion, Switzerland. There, he became a professional athlete and played for a season.
In 2018, he was hired by RB Leipzig of the Bundesliga. He stood out for the club and even ran for Puskas. In the early 2020 window, it hit with Herta Berlin, also from German football, for 20 million euros.
Highlighted in the German Championship with four goals in seven games, Matheus revealed his favorite teams in Brazil, including Corinthians.
"I always follow Saint Paul a lot because of Anthony, Walce. I follow Corinthians a lot because of Pedrinho. So you end up creating a affection not only for the club, but for your friends who are there," he told Alê Oliveira Respons, on YouTube.
What's up, Corinthian, is it up to Timon's attack?
