Failed in the Corinthians last season, center-front Roger polled by explaining the failure in the People's Team. In his view, the low technical level of the alvinegra team contributed negatively.
For Roger, the Corinthians team was the "lowermost of the last 15 years" and so the ball was not enough for him to finish. There were only five goals in 26 games.
"In Corinthians, with all due respect, was the lowest team in the last 15 years. He had a lot of good players, but he was of less quality, less talented and more trouble. The 9 takes a lot of this, sometimes it needs a ball to make the goal, not enough", said Roger to journalist Jorge Nicola.
Roger left Corinthians in 2019 after Boselli arrived. Currently, the attacker belongs to the Black Bridge.
