Willian tem data para estrear no Corinthians

Willian segue em casa cumprindo o restante de dias da quarentena. O atleta estava relacionado para estrear como titular diante do Atlético-GO, mas foi impedido pela Anvisa pois não cumpriu corretamente os protocolos de saúde após retornar da Inglaterra.

Vale lembrar que o Corinthians discordou da postura da Anvisa e publicou nota oficial criticando o veto a Willian.

The Sport Club Corinthians Paulista clarifies that, in compliance with Anvisa's ordinance 655/21 (which deals with restrictions on entry into Brazil of people from the United Kingdom), the athlete Willian will not go to the field for this Sunday's match in Goiania, against Atlético-GO.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the club has always complied with the health rules imposed by different health authorities, even if some of them have been confused. Therefore, it will fulfill without objection the role of diffuser of the measures of Ordinance 655/21.

However, the Corinthians reserves the right to protest regarding the unequal treatment provided by the agency, as recognized by the Agency itself in the last paragraphs of the announcement about the athlete Willian, issued on Saturday (11).

The club expects Anvisa and the other public agencies that make up the system to better guide travelers, athletes or not, and monitor them equally and clearly, seeking to achieve the goal of the ordinance, which is to preserve lives, avoiding unwanted speculation and misinformation.
