The former Corinthian Mendoza viralized on social networks on Wednesday (09) after wasting a penalty in the confrontation between Avaí and Ceará, in the Ressaca, for the penultimate round of Series A.
When it was defeated by 1 to 0, Ceará had a penalty marked in the second stage and could have tied the confrontation. The Colombian attacker, however, lost the penalty and wasted the rebound.
With the result, Ceará is the third confirmed team in the 2023 Series B.
