The quarterback Lucas Veríssimo wrote on social media saying goodbye to the Corinthians. Through Instagram, Qatar's new advocate for Al Duhail said it was a "great honor" to play in the People's Team.

Defending the Corinthians was a great honor, in which I will keep forever with me.
It was also the fastest and most accurate decision I have made throughout my professional career.
I realized a dream wearing this shirt. Seeing Faithful crowding the Arena and pushing the team was something surreal and I'll take it with me forever.
I always tried my best for this club. Work, dedication and delivery have never been missed!
After all, that's what playing at Corinthians is!
I can only thank you for all your support since the first call I received to talk about this great challenge. From the first day at the club, from staff, technical committee and companions, I was very welcome by everyone.
