O Corinthians não descarta o retorno do zagueiro Lucas Veríssimo para a próxima temporada. O presidente Augusto Melo enxerga com bons olhos a possibilidade.
Veríssimo, por sua vez, entende que seria uma boa ideia retornar ao futebol brasileiro em 2025, não necessariamente ao Corinthians, mas um possível retorno ao Parque São Jorge deixaria o atleta feliz da vida.
“Ele (Augusto) se aproximou do Pitombeira (empresário) e já deu uma paquerada sobre a volta do Lucas Veríssimo. Não é uma coisa fácil de acontecer, mas me falaram que o Lucas Veríssimo vê com bons olhos a volta ao futebol brasileiro, não necessariamente no Corinthians, ele aceitaria voltar para o Coringão”, revela o jornalista Samir Carvalho.

Defending the Corinthians was a great honor, in which I will keep forever with me.
It was also the fastest and most accurate decision I have made throughout my professional career.
I realized a dream wearing this shirt. Seeing Faithful crowding the Arena and pushing the team was something surreal and I'll take it with me forever.
I always tried my best for this club. Work, dedication and delivery have never been missed!
