The Portuguese newspaper "A Bola" reflects Corinthians' debt for the transaction from half Pedrinho to Benfica (POR) in 2020.

The publication states that businessman Will Dantas, owner of 30% of Pedrinho's economic rights, received half of the commission of 5.3 million euros.

Will has launched Corinthians in Justice to receive the EUR 2.8 million that is still missing. In an interview with the Brazilian press, the entrepreneur explains that President Augusto Melo himself instructed him to trigger the club judicially.

"This debt has come since 2020. Andres said he was gonna pay, he didn't pay. Duílio said he'd pay, he didn't pay. I renegotiated with Augusto at the beginning of management and he did not honor it," said Will.

"Augustus himself asked to come in, he himself said: ‘There is no point in renegotiating. Enter the action, you go to CER (Centralized Execution Regime) and there you receive’. It was in common agreement, I don't want to harm anyone", he added.

Pedrinho played 141 times with Corinthians' shirt and scored five goals.
