Ceará considers the possibility of buying the attacker Pedro Raul by the Corinthians. Shirt 9 is borrowed from the northeastern club by the end of the season.
With seven goals scored in eight matches by Ceará, Pedro Raul has been one of the great highlights in the beginning of the Brazilian Championship. The former Corinthian also scored the goal of the Cearense title for the new team.
In an interview with UOL, president João Paulo Silva of Ceará, spoke about the possibility of buying Pedro Raul from the People’s Team.
"Today is one of the top players on our team. But like this, we haven't even talked to Corinthians about it yet. We must wait, we must also have financial responsibility. I always say that the most important thing for Ceará is that we continue in Series A," said João Paulo.
" That's what's going to make a plan, including buying assets and Pedro includes himself, but we need to take a longer time on this to know how we're going to end the season," the leader added.
With Corinthians' shirt on, attacker Pedro Raul scored four goals in 39 games.
