Amid controversy with the values invested by the Corinthians by the Dutch attacker Memphis Depay, see which are the ten most received players to play football in Brazil at all times.
The survey was based on numbers reported by clubs to the press at the time of hiring or renewing with athletes. We emphasize that these are approximate numbers, as reported.
The top ten wages already paid are all in the last three years, a time of substantial economic rise of Brazilian clubs and also of their debts. Only two of these contracts on the list are not currently in force.
It is worth highlighting, however, remarkable salaries such as Edmundo and Romário, R$ 450 thousand each, in 2000, by Vasco and Ronaldinho Gaúcho no Atlético Mineiro, de R$ 900,000 in 2012 that inflation-adjusted would be huge in current standards.
