The Corinthians would have proposed to Santos Laguna (MEX) for the end of the transfer ban Taxed by Fifa.

The current board offered 50% of R$ 34 million in cash and the rest of it. The money from the sale of the young Kauê Furquim to Bahia will be used to reduce the debt.

Journalist Marco Bello, in People's Team Channel, explained about the Corinthian proposal.

"Though it was little, R$ Fourteen million, it'll serve to get the transfer ban out of the Corinthians. Did you know? Yeah, the money that wasn't foreseen was a cash that fell, though little, but it was money that fell out of nowhere, R.$ 14 million. Suddenly you look at the account there, there's nothing, suddenly there's R$ 14 million. Corinthians owes Santos Laguna 34 million. The Corinthians will offer half the value in sight, that is, R$ 17 million, and the other half in five instalments," explained Marco Bello.

According to journalist Tiago Salazar, however, Santos Laguna would have turned down Corinthians' proposal and only agreed to negotiate for 70% of the amount in sight.
