A new reinforcement of Flamengo, striker Samuel Lino, former Atlético de Madrid, quoted Memphis Depay in the presentation conference at the Rio club.
On Friday (01), asked about the choice to exchange European football for Brazilian, Samuel Lino revealed a meeting with Memphis Depay of the Corinthians, in São Paulo where they talked about the growth of the Brazilian league.
"I met Memphis on vacation in São Paulo and he told me that football is growing a lot here and I said yes, it's true, structure everything. After I got interested in Flamengo I didn't think I was new and I have to be in Europe, Flamengo is huge in Brazil," said Samuel.
Memphis and Samuel Lino meet on opposite sides on September 27, when the Corinthians will receive the Flamengo in Neo Chemistry Arena, second round game of Brasileirão.
