The Corinthians announced on Wednesday (17), hours before the final of the Brazilian Cup before Vasco da Gama, a punctual partnership with BYD, electric car manufacturer from China.
Through social networks, the club informs fans that BYD will stamp the front bar of the Corinthian uniform in the two final matches of the Copa do Brasil.
"It is with great joy that we will have BYD on our shirt for this important decision. Beside a global brand like BYD reinforces our commitment to seek new opportunities, modernize our business relations and strengthen the image of the Corinthians inside and outside Brazil," says President Osmar Stabile.
"The passion for car and football plays an important role in strengthening BYD as an increasingly Brazilian brand. We are, Corinthians and BYD, pure energy! In the final of the Brazilian Cup, it is 100% drums and goes, Corinthians!", declared Alexandre Baldy, Senior Vice President of BYD.
