Al-Sadd's half Claudinho, from Qatar, left the Asian country afraid of the war between the United States and Iran and can terminate the contract with the club.
Revealed at the base of Corinthians, the athlete claimed personal questions to leave the Al-Sadd delegation. The club published a note stating that Claudinho's return is expected as soon as possible.
" Because of some personal circumstances that our player Claudinho is going through, he left Qatar with his family yesterday. The Club, however, is in contact with him for his return to Doha as soon as possible," says the note.
At the age of 29, Claudinho has been targeted by several Brazilian clubs in recent years, including Corinthians. Clubs like Flamengo and Palmeiras also tried to hire the player.
